Thank you Martin for allowing me to thank all at home for their prayers and kind condolences at the sad passing of my wife Brenda (nee Clerkin) aged 52. She is very sadly missed here by her family in Brisbane and very fondly remembered by all her old friends in Kells. RIP. Remember us to all and we hope to visit again soon.

lovely town, was hoping to see a photo of Girley Cottage,Girley,Meath where my great grand mother Annie Marie Fox was born in 1864 Her parents were Joseph Matthew Fox and Mary Rose Gallagher and they arrived in Australia in 1865.They may have even prayed at your church. But in 1864 Kells would have looked a lot different to what it looks now I think.
Great site, Keep up the good work

It was a lovely end to a truly wonderful time which started in London with a Concelebrated Mass with our family and friends and the sun was shining all day on sat 13th ,lovely to see Magaret Mc govern had a nice catch up, regards to all the Mcgoverns and all in Kells.
GOD BLESS

Any old photographs of Suffolk St.and Carrick St. as they would have been 1905 - 1910?

The images are grand , the ones of the town in particular were lovely, but where had all the traffic gone ? It was nice to see streets clear and to see lots of familiar faces. Many thanks again. Monica

I was so sorry to read of the death of Sister Gertrude recently. She was a lovely person. I was delighted to join her, and the other nuns in the convent, for tea two years ago. Sister Gertrude was an inspiration to hundreds of girls attending the old convent school and Eureka.
I keep in touch with Kells by logging onto your Bulletin every week.

Any memories of my maternal family the DuPrats who lived in Kells 1903/4 - 1911/13. I would be pleased to hear about this.
Thank you in anticipation.
