PARISH CHOIR Led by Choir Director, Moirin Mooney and organist Sr. Claire Nugent, St. Colmcille's Parish Choir usually sing at the 11am Mass each Sunday. The choir also sing on selected Feast Days and on special occasions throughout the year. Over the past few years the Choir performed at Lourdes and Rome (see photo below). The Choir practice every Wednesday at 8pm in the Old Convent School. New members (male and female) are always welcome and Moirin may be contacted at 9240747.
PARISH FOLK GROUP Directed by Mary Casey-Kelly and featuring singer Kathleen McGovern, the Parish Folk Group usually sing at the Saturday 7.30 Vigil Mass. Most of the members are in the early and late teens although all ages are welcome to join. The Folk Group practice every Thursday at 8pm. Mary may be contacted at 9240110.
KELLS YOUTH CHOIR Recently formed by Nessa Olohan, the Youth Choir(ages 12-18 years) practice every Thursday night 7.30-8.30pm in the edmund Rice Centre, Bective St and perform in the Parish Church Kells on the THIRD SUNDAY of each month at 12.15 Mass. KELLS CHORISTERS Br. Frank Crummey and Ms Nessa Olohan recently set up Kells Boy Choristers. The Choristers sing at the 12.15 Mass every Sunday.
